DEADSY Frontman Interviewed By ALICE COOPER: Audio Available

DEADSY frontman P. Exeter Blue I (a.k.a. Elijah Blue, son of actress/singer Cher and Gregg Allman) was Alice Cooper's special guest on Cooper's radio show "Nights with Alice Cooper" on September 12. Download an MP3 file containing the audio of the interview at this location.

DEADSY's triumphant return, "Phantasmagore", was released August 22 on Elementree/Immortal Records, with first-week sales totaling just under 4,500, placing them at No. 176 on The Billboard 200 chart.

"Phantasmagore" is DEADSY's genre-defying sophomore LP, following 2002's "Commencement". A mutant synthesis of late '70s post-punk and cosmic stoner rock, this band has always been ahead of its time. As the LA Weekly recently observed, "The synth-driven death pop is still intact... but leader Elijah Blue's writing has gotten confessional."
